MM - Great work as always. I haven't been too active this summer, but now that it's winter my work is slowing down and I have some great spare time.

Wondering if you are using a pin spinner, or just peening and polishing those pins? I haven't used any bone yet, but since I cracked the last couple of wood scales I put on - I'm thinking maybe pin spinning is the way to go?

Nice to see you back Jaye! I hand peen all my pins, never had much luck with spinners, a little polishing on a properly peened pin will give a nice smooth even head. some knives I do flush fit peens on where the handles are very smooth, like wood, ivory ect.

Well at least it isn't a pic of a nuteria.

Basically nuteria are South American water rats. They were brought up here for fur, but they don't trap them any more.

Here is a pic of a nuteria & a muskrat. Maybe you can have a real muskrat for a avatar.

I think the muskrat is a much better looking animal than the nuteria. The nuteria are a real nusance where I live.
