Anybody do fixed blade handle replacement?

Post by Chayes »

Some years ago I purchased a Buck 119 for a pretty good price. The reason being that the PO had evidently damaged the original handle and fashioned a replacement out of body putty! Buck stated that fixed blade knife handles cannot be replaced by them. Does anyone here repair or replace the handle on a fixed blade? I was thinking about a stacked leather but am open to suggestions. You can PM me to offer a quote or for additional information. Crossposted on the Buck forum.

Since it seems your set on getting this knife re-handled, I'd recommend "Muskrat Man". You can find his store here under the same name. Whether he wants to tackle that job though, is another story, but it don't hurt to ask.
