Is that bead a glass trade bead ? I have not personally seen glass beads from either N.J. or Pa., although I'm sure some must exist. I think they were from the later fur trade era, after all the Indians had been mostly driven out of the Eastern States. I have seen a number of beads made from rolled, thin copper sheet.
