"SPIKE" by Union Cut,

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

This "SPIKE" razor belonged to my Great Uncle George Sash. I don't collect razors but I do collect anything Union Cut. Thought maybe the KA BAR folks would like to see it. J.O'.

KleenCut: Forgot to say No Box., It was in a box but it was wrapped in tar tape and is trash, maybe not the correct one. He had quite a few razors. He died in 1980 at ninety years old. Never owned a safety razor. Thanks again.

Here are a few of my favorite Union Cut razors. One Tidioute jigged bone, one John Jay (a Union brand) pearl tang, and a celluloid Great Arrow with the North American continent etch. I have the proper original boxes for the John Jay and the pick bone.
