For The Knife Collector That Has Everything
If you're stumped on Christmas shopping for the knife collector that has everything here is an opportunity of a lifetime for you. Be sure to check his other items because they include many rare Civil War knives and then some others that would be a great addition to any collection, though they are missing blades, springs, etc. Hurry they won't last long.

And I thought the WWII era Kabar with a busted tip and all but two handle washers missing I found under a shed as a teenager was bad. Every knife this seller has is trash. All the "knife" parts have long rusted away. But, great salesmanship for sure.

Re: For The Knife Collector That Has Everything
It's always fun to see stuff like this being sold. "The rest looks good!!!" is not what I'm seeing
The title of this thread made me think of Albert Baer (past owner of Ulster and Schrade etc) on his 80th birthday. As a Titan of the knife industry he would most assuredly have owned anything he desired.
"For The Knife Collector That Has Everything"? I like the not-politically-correct solution Albert's granddaughter went with in 1985. Quite funny. I can only hope to have such "joie de vivre" when I turn 80.

I don't always respond to great posts but I always appreciate seeing them. Thanks for posting!

It's interesting to read his feedbacks.
100% positives and everyone seems to be thrilled with what they have bought from him.

I'm wondering if the seller is a fellow who actively uses a metal detector. How he dated the items I looked at is a mystery to me.

The knife seems to prove that Alien Reptillian infiltrators did not use functional cutlery during the US Civil War. What a historical find!
Seriously, I'd say you nailed it. The knife in question totally looks like it's been buried for years. I think when metal-detectors find buried iron and steel it often comes up looking like that. The depth of sediment it was found in could have been used to guesstimate an age. Not really good science but a guy using a metal-detector might be tempted to crunch numbers that way.

I was thinking we could make this seller the official supplier for the annual AAPK - POS knife exchange. Looks like he has enough to go around.
