search for a lost knife

Post by davidshepherd1957 »

Hello members
Just wondered if anyone can help me.
A little while ago I lost a much loved pen knife, it was a brass handle pampas knife
it is a Ettrick style .
I purchased it about 35 years ago and it has been in my pocket since, but I have lost it.
if anyone know any where I can purchase one to replace it I will be very grateful.
Thank you for any help

Hello and welcome to AAPK. I am sure there will be some here who may be able to let you know if they've seen anty out and about. The only Ettrick syle knives I've ever seen are usually Wright & Son serpentine ettricks. You can occasionally find them listed on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/A-Wright-Son-1 ... SwAepeDmNS But I can't recall seeing any with brass handles.

Best of luck in your search!!

I'll sharpen it for you, but I don't give out band-aids!!

David, that knife sounds really interesting. Is this knife usually sold in the UK?
If so, maybe you can find a UK knife store that will ship it to you,

Also, welcome to AAPK!!!!

Do you have any other knives?

Thank you for your reply.
Yes I purchased the knife in a shop in Wells Somerset probably in the 1970's
The shop is no longer there.
I have been looking for a while and have had no possibilities so far.
I do have about 25 knifes but nothing as interesting as the Pampas..
