I'm not familiar with this particular pattern (#71)...so, I am curious what is the closed length?

It's a gorgeous knife with absolutely stunning bone...as such, I feel the pile side deserves to be seen here as well (again, I hope you don't mind).

Reached a deal with Bill on the above referenced knife. Bill was great to work with. I have been collecting S & M Premiere series knives for awhile now. The knife Bill provided me gives me the 10th in a series of 10 different patterns in the Premier series! I now have the complete collection and boy are they cool!
