Quote of the Day
Wow:
“I believe this was a factory second and has Ka-bar name ground off blade because of a small gap between handle and scale on one end. “

Possibly the first liner-locked Peanut I have ever seen.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Hmmmm, at a minimum it looks like one end of the pile-side scale needs to be repinned. I think it has to be the smallest liner-lock that I remember seeing. Maybe a red herring?

My 18OT Mighty Mite is a liner lock, but I don't think it would be called a peanut.
It's 2-7/8 inches in length, pretty small.
The photo isn't my knife but mines just like it.

Camillus for Crosman? Every single model in that line has a locking main blade, and they did have a Peanut in the line--the 916A

Re: Quote of the Day
Wow, I had not seen an 18OT until this post, then my wife buys me one in a group of knives this afternoon!
It is not in as good a shape as the other knives in this thread, but it might get a new blade soon.

The posted knife was made by Utica not Kabar.

Re: Quote of the Day
Thank you for the clarification. I knew it was not a Kabar, but was not sure who the maker was. I was taken aback by the statement the seller had posted about the “ground off”.
