Does anyone know the maker "Dent"?

Post by prober996 »

I inherited this nice boot knife from my father. The maker's logo is "Dent" with a highly stylized "D". I have not seen any other knives, on other custom knife sites, with this logo. Does anyone have knowledge of this maker?

Jimbo, I don't see the "Dent" logo on that (Nordic) knife, like mine. Do you know this to be the same maker?

Found it! Arizona Knives does have an entire section on D.M. Dent, and my pearl-scaled knife is shown.

He was my step-father. He took great pride in his work. His knives are prized by those who own them. You are fortunate to have this one.

Yes, Gnosis, I am very happy to own this beautiful boot knife. My father prized it, and I believe that he bought it from your step-father at a knife show (maybe in NYC at the Roosevelt Hotel?).
