Find the owner of a company trademark or name

Post by Mumbleypeg »

The owner of a trademark, trade name or tang stamp can often be found using the U.S. Trademark Registry web site. https://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe ... h&p_d=trmk It is free, and easy to search. Just open the site, type in the name for which you’re looking for info, and submit it.

You may have to try a couple of searches to get what you want. For example a search for “Novelty” is too general and will find many different trade names which contain the word “Novelty”. However a search for “Novelty Knife” finds only two records, one “live” and one “dead” registration. Both of them are owned by Smoky Mountain Knife Works.

And when you are finished don’t forget to log out! ::handshake::

If your religion requires that you hate someone, you need a new religion.

When the people fear their government, that is tyranny. When government fears the people, that is freedom.
