It is a Small World !!

Post by OLDSMOKE »

::nod:: It all started about 25 years ago, I was ridin with the Bandidos out of New Mexico and being a white boy  a bunch of them were allways callin me GRINGO :x and I had had about all of it I was going to take :x cause the ones that were doin it werent doin it for fun :x so I took a couple of shots at-em :o witha Nickel plated Colt 45 1911 with Mother of Pearl Grips and that pretty much finished that. ::huff::
One of the guys that I was ridin with, (known as Rat Basturd) had a brother livin in Flagstaff and when we split up he told me to go tell his brother that he was doin ok. :D
When I got there this ole boys brother had just gotten married ::td:: about two days earlier to a cute little brunette about 5'4" 110 lbs., :? everything was stacked together just about right to, ::drool:: (I could tell she was female by the way her dungerees fit). ::drool::
She did not take to well to my movin in but I dont member that slowin me down none. ::tu::
This ole boys name was John Olivera their dad was Vice President of IBM at the time.
I decided I needed some gas money so I got a job with the local K-Mart doin maitenance and it wasnt but about two days later I ran into a real cute little volunteer nurse workin at an old folks center not to far from K-Mart.
about three weeks of that and this chick started talkin kinda serious so I fire up the Pan and headed south to a little place called Sadona about 50 miles south.
Man I fell into heaven there, I got a job just North of Sadona at a place called DON HOLES CABINS, I could get up about 5 am walk less than fifty yards to a crick that was so cold you could freeze your Nuts off just by lookin at the water out of the corner of your eye, and catch German Brown Trout about 20 inches long for breakfast.
This story goes on but it is a quarter to five now an I am goin to git, but I aint gittin to go fishin an it dont look like I am goin to git to go for some time now.
Enjoy The Day Guys

Cope, you do not know just how right you are, almost every day I can out forecast the weatherman.

El Lobo, I thank you for shareing that site with me, it has been a long time since I had given the Ole Slide Rock much thought, I have hundreds of 35 mm photos that I took and I used to sell them to some of the advertisers and magazines, put it in the kitty to pay for gas, I was on the search and rescue team out there and I used to take a small Kodak with me, we were allways dargin people out of those cliffs and off of those peaks.

Enjoy The Day Guys!!!

Gringo I am truely sorry to hear that you got rid of the ole Norton, I rode a Norton Comando to high school when I went hahahaha
My ole PanHead has been sittin out in the garage for the last two years cause it just gona cost to much to put a puch button starter on it, figures out to about 2500 bucks.

A few years ago the Ole Lady got me a tee shirt that says (IF YOU DONT LIMP YOU AINT S**T)

I only made that run between Sadona an Flag a couple of times and a few of them I was so lite I could see the road for miles with no headlights hahahaha and all those hairpin curves down through there made it seem a lot farther I guess, I loved that country but my grand mother got very sick and I came back to take care of her and my grandfather, that pretty much put an end to my runnin around and I just never did get back to Don's place.

Enjoy The Day Guys

That Old Colt was named BabyDoll, she was made in the late 1912 and the original Mother of Pearl grips started cracking out so I retired them a few years ago and picked up a set of Pearlite grips from Ajax with Gold Stalion $150.00 bucks for fake Pearl bummer man.
