Well now I am disappointed.
I wanted to buy a Katana to slice my tomatoes.
And then lick the blade clean!

Now what am I going to do for fun?
Jesus is life.
Everything else is just a hobby.

Do not play catch with the sword.
Do not use the sword as a chainsaw.
Do not shave with the sword. ::uc::

I guess it is OK to look at the sword, but don't look at it too hard.

Good one, OC! ::tu::
I wonder if it'd be O.K. to THINK about the sword, but not think about it too hard? ::shrug::

So, unfortunately, I did purchase 4 swords from these people, TRUEKATANA.COM - so avoid them at all costs. I have one picture of the sword and the really messed up scabbard that they told me to fix myself. I was getting no where with them, so I ended up filing a claim with PayPal & my credit card and then they sent me a pre-paid return label. These people are shameless crooks.

However, they did give us all a good laugh

You mean you wouldn't want to take a stab at doing your own inlaid enamel? Looks like there's no disclaimers for sword use doing that. 😬

Do not use as a chainsaw is probably the best one, because how the heck would that even be possible?

🤔 Maybe with a pull-starter modification??? 😆

All good ones, but the candle on the cake is "do not cut anything with the sword" .

Are there any substances on the planet which are not "known by the State of California" to cause cancer, premature birth or other harm?

How come The State of California are the only people to know all this, and how do they 'know' this for sure? ::hmm:: ::shrug::

I know zip, zilch, nada, nothin' about swords ::shrug:: so I can't offer an opinion regarding good/bad, Kim, but thanks for the picture all the same! ::tu::
It's certainly a shame the seller won't stand behind their products, ::facepalm:: I wonder how their repeat business is doing! ::hmm::

I don't think so. It comes from California Proposition 65:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1986_Ca ... osition_65 (Note that there is a whole other article on the list of chemicals)

As an aside, California issued some or other decree that dairymen were to do something to reduce flatulence in their cows, because of concerns over the ozone layer.

Jeez...all of them. ::facepalm:: They could have saved a lot of ink if they'd just said, "this is wall art; do not use it for any other purpose."

Glad it worked out. I would never intentionally buy a knife from China.
To those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected ones will never know.
