Good OTF

I’ve finally retired my little OLD Buck Corporal (I think it was called).
Anyway I’m looking for some input on a small, quality OTF.
All good advice is much appreciated.

Out the front automatic knife. Everyone seems to like the microtech but they are high dollar. I have heard that the Chinese knock offs are just as good and only $65 compared to $350 and up.

I personally would go with Benchmade for OTF. You get what you pay for.

Kershaw Livewire 9000.

Magnacut, USA made, great warranty and great action.

I have been carrying one for edc for a couple months with no issues.

My experience with Benchmade OTF was that it had a lot more rattle than the Livewire, and the BM stopped firing all the way to lock after a few months of pocket carry.

You can find Livewires for right at $200 if you search a little.

The black one is mine, and it is early build and 20cv, the Blue is my wife's and I think they are all magnacut now.

I highly recommend the Krate Tactical OTF.
In my opinion, better than Microtec. Made in USA. LIFETIME warrantee. Just got one yesterday. Not cheap but way cheaper than Microtec and much better made in my opinion. Fit and finish are perfect. Comes with a tool to take apart for cleaning.

I highly recommend the Krate Tactical OTF.

I’ll read up on them. I like OTF but don’t know if they would hold up to my job. I need to pull the trigger on one and try it, maybe I’ll kick the snuff and save the money for knives!
