Prayers needed for cancer

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Prayers needed for cancer

Post by MissouriGuerrilla »

The mother of my wife's best friend was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer on her liver, lymph nodes and breasts. She underwent her first round of 8 hr. chemo today. She is full of fire and is taking this head on like a runaway freight train. It has brought her closer to God. She's quit swearing, smoking and curbs her tongue. She claims this cancer "isn't happening." So we need some prayers to keep this fight going.

Thanks, folks.

Having gone through this with my wife, a 12 year survivor, I know how difficult that situation can be. My prayers for her and may the Lord give her strength and comfort in the days ahead.

I will keep her in my prayers. Do you have a first name for her, so our prayers can be more personal?

My wife is going through this same thing right now. She is in her third year of treatment and on chemotherapy. She has turned out to be quite a fighter, and I think that's what someone going through this needs. They also need the Lord because he is the source of strength and he is also the great physician!

I will put her on my prayer list.

Thoughts and prayers to you and yours, along with Janet and her loved ones. May God's Will be for healing and long life.

As a stage 4 survivor of 6+ years, my heartfelt prayers go out to anyone going through cancer treatment as either a patient or a family member/care giver.
Isaiah 41:10 (NRSVUE)

do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be afraid, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you; I will help you;
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
