Very early Cattaraugus folders
Here is my collection of Cattaraugus knives without Little Valley marked on them, very early group. Center 4 blade has ink! According to my buddy Derek's current research these were made before there was a factory in Little Valley.

Is that a hack saw on the one in the bottom row? I've never seen that.galvanic1882 wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2024 7:16 pm Here is my collection of Cattaraugus knives without Little Valley marked on them, very early group. Center 4 blade has ink! That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend.

Re: Very early Cattaraugus folders
Very nice. I'm a little jealous. I don't have any pre-Little Valley pieces. I do have a hand written invoice from Oct. 29,1897 and you won't believe the prices. The entire invoice is $30.57 !! I don't get to show my Catt's very often so if you'll indulge me, here are some of them. They always have been my favorite brand. J.O'.

Thanks fellers. It's getting close to the ten-year disassembly, cleaning, and reattachment in the display case.

Thanks Lyle. I have around 75+ now. They're my favorites, like your roosters. Haven't found one "in the wild" for a couple years. O'.

I have the one BSA , a non-BSA black bone camp'/utility and a non-BSA Jr. Scout missing a compass. What did you have in mind? I have lots of non-Catt trading material. PM me. Thanks .
