I posted this in the Knife Q&A section- I hope it’s okay to repost here…
I have a few knives with pocket clips, and occasionally I need to give the clip a little bend to tighten the clip’s tension. That’s a simple task when the clip is attached with torx screws. I recently acquired a knife with a riveted clip, and I would like to tighten up the clip with a small bend, but I haven’t had any success. I tried siding a dowel under the clip to the point of the bend and then pressing, but it didn’t have much effect.
Any suggestions?

Re: Adjust (bend) pocket clip
I would put the end of the knife with the pocket clip rivets securely in a vise, then grasp the pocket clip in a sturdy pair of needle nose pliers and twist so that the original bend in the pocket clip is restored, and then just add a bit more bend. It should be tight and secure after this procedure.
