Is this a Gerber Gator? Unique blade shape.

In 1939 Joseph Gerber (advertising agency owner) had custom knife maker David Murphy make 24 sets of carving knife for some of his select customers. Catalog retailer Abercrombie & Fitch saw them and was so impressed with the quality of the knives they wanted to sell them. Thus was born Gerber Legendary Blades.

I purchased this knife new in the early 90's.

This appears to be a unique blade shape for the Gators that I can find.

Agree, from what Google images show.
All the pics I see of the folder GATOR has a clip blade.
All the pics of the fixed blade GATOR has a blade like the OP.
Take care and God bless,

LST Magnum--the full size model. I've got pretty much all the LST lineup, and they're great lightweight, but hard-use knives. I've tried others (including $100 Spydercos) and the ergonomics just don't compare.

All Gators have rubber handles if I'm not mistaken (which often don't age well...).

here's a blurb of the LST Magnum Cody mentioned in the post above. Might not be the same size but it's in the same family:

Thank you all for your time and replies. After posting, I researched it as much as I could and considered that it was probably from the LST Magnum family so your responses helped me confirm.
