Victorinox Sportsman

Post by Mscoggin2 »

Attached are three pics. The knife in question is the Victorinox Sportsman and the color of the scales. It’s a matte red color and not the same bright ruby color. Is this older than I think? Aftermarket scales? Looking at the tang stamp is early 2000s yes?

Cheers,
Matt

It's nylon plastic, which always seems a little darker than cellidor. Victorinox refers to them as Economy or Econoline.

I beleive what you have there is a Sportsman. The Huntsman has other tools including a saw and scissors, maybe this helps get you on the right track anyway.
