Clip point barlow with wood burl

Clip point Barlow. 1095 carbon steel, dyed wood burl, mill relieved liner, spun pins, laser cut threading, nail nick, and stained glass motif on bolster.

Beautiful knife Ash, your laser research is really paying off!!! It's amazing how much progress you've made in such a short time, definitely a natural. If I could just make one suggestion? Shorten your backspring a bit (or lengthen the run up) so you don't have so much 'hook' on the blade in the open position.

Yes I agree. It wasn't originally intended to hook that much. Things have a way of morphing as the build progresses sometimes.

I definitely want the feedback. I am trying for that grey area of a knife that looks and feels like a traditional that you collectors all crave, but is modern and different just enough to not be a an exact replica.
