I don't know anything about the knife except it was made by good ol' Camillus.

Looks hardly used and stored on the top shelf of a garage for 25 1/2 years.
It's a beauty. How long is it?

I believe its a early WW II Army - Air Force pilots knife. Very nice condition.. ::tu::

I don’t know if this helps or not, but appears to be a Camillus WW2 pilot’s knife. And, a great example of one. I been after one for a while now, not easy or cheap to come by. This is a page from the picture pictured.

I think Bob and CarMan are right and I agree it is an excellent example.
Off the top of my head, I think that tang stamp was only used on fixed blade knives.
I think it is definitely World War II era or slightly before.
