Old tang stamp??

What about this old tang stamp...is it authentic The knife is now on ebay item #127039022052

The stamp is authentic. What’s important to note though is that why the listed dates for W R Case & Sons knives are 1905-14 is that Case never had rights to use the Tested XX stamp until 1915 so this knife was actually produced after 1914. The made in USA stamp also indicates that it was more than likely a contract knife. This in covered in my recent book “Old Knives, Tested XX and more on page 20.

This tang stamp picture was taken from a texas toothpick knife on ebay. The knife has grooved bolsters. Could this old, maybe contract knife, be legit?
