Premier Life Time K97 England Pocket Knife
I note an early post asking for info about a Premier Life Time K97 German pocket knife. I have the same pocket knife depicted in that post except it is made in ENGLAND nat Germany. My knife has two blades. It measures about 6 1/2 inches with the larger blade open, 6 inches with the smaller blade open and 3 5/8 in closed. Is my knife rare?

Re: Premier Life Time K97 England Pocket Knife
Premier Lifetime was a “jobber” (not a cutlery factory) selling knives made for them by cutleries located in several countries including England, Germany, Italy, and Japan. Sometimes the same pattern was made in different countries (apparently Premier owned the pattern designs and/or the tooling for some patterns) so it’s not unusual to see a pattern made in Germany also made in England or Japan, etc. For example I have a Premier pattern that was made at various times in Germany, England, and Japan, with the German version seemingly being the most common.
It would be great to see pictures of your knife (we like pictures here). Whether it is “rare” or not I can’t say. Rare does not equal “valuable” and the Premier brand doesn’t have high collector demand. There are several threads here about Premier with pictures of other knives and information - here’s an example https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... hp?t=42187
