Need help dating this knife
I got this Robeson knife a while back and decided to clean it up a bit. Haven't had much luck figuring out an approx. year it was made however. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

Re: Need help dating this knife
I have one just like it in my kitchen knife block. Use it often.
The “Hammered” line of kitchen cutlery was introduced in the 50’s, I believe. Possibly the 40’s.
Not sure how long they were available, but they created whole store displays for the line.
They are carbon steel, so they will rust if left in the bottom of the sink in water or in a drying rack after a wash. Wipe it dry and place it somewhere to air dry before storing it in a drawer or wood block.
It will take a great edge.
Robeson knives for the kitchen are readily available on Ebay for very little money.
I use them everyday.
