Match Striker Nail nick/blade Pull
Kinda new here so forgive me please if I have missed the answer to this elsewhere on this wonderful site. I am checking out a Puma Stock knife advertised as Vintage, which has a nail nick with an obvious match striker blade pull which I have seen on a lot of Chinese made folders . I was concerrned whether this was an old custom or something new. Any help would be appreciated.

It's an old design feature that's being utilized on modern production knives to give them the impression of quality. It's likely that your Puma is authentic, but pictures or a link will help determine for sure
That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend.

Thank you Wkg. I am not up to speed yet with photograph transfer but I think your response solves my dilemna. I was unaware of that nail nick being an older process on some knives. I also have never seen an old Puma Stock knife before, so just hesitant, I guess.
