My First Custom Knife

Post by Corn Creek Cutlery »

This is my first effort at custom knifemaking. It is a 6 1/2" stock removal knife in a mystery steel I picked up. After quenching, a 55 file skates, and a 60 barely scratches. The handles are walnut from a tree Hurricane Helene brought down last year. Last step is to put an edge on it.

GREAT looking knife, Tony 8) Love the size and the blade geometry ::nod:: The handle looks comfortable and well-balanced, too. Nice job ::tu::
