Helping Alaskan flood victims

My heart goes out to those who lost homes this week in Alaska due to floods. There are no roads to some of these areas, and over 1500 people had to be evacuated by boat and by air.
It is reported that this is among the poorest areas in our country, emergency shelters are full, and the harsh Alaskan Winter is about to begin.
