Switchblades owned by famous musicians
I thought I’d start a light hearted fun thread. A cross over thread with music and knives.
It is said that Elvis had a Rizzuto. Any others?

Interesting topic, unfortunately I have nothing to offer.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Nice! I was going to post it could be expanded into all famous people.
I know switchblades are used all over the place is in music. There is a small white Rizzuto in the inside cover of an Alice Cooper album and all sorts of switchblades in music videos.
Famous musicians (not bar band hacks) seemed to love switchblades.

If l remember correctly, Ken Kercheval of the DALLAS show was a big time knife collector. Remember seeing his pic attending many knife shows.

Sylvester Stallone has switchblades. Angelina Jolie did as well.knife7knut wrote: ↑Mon Dec 22, 2025 3:14 am If l remember correctly, Ken Kercheval of the DALLAS show was a big time knife collector. Remember seeing his pic attending many knife shows.
I heard a wild story about a collector in Kansas was approached after a show by a well dressed black man in a suit. He was a lawyer for Michael Jackson. The lawyer was a buyer for Michael Jackson. Jackson had to spend his money and apparently collected collections of anything. The man in Kansas said he had multiple Korns and many other rare knives and they bought his entire collection and with the money he put his two kids through the Univ of Kansas. I respect that. Education is so important. I do everything to make sure my kids have a great education and college Degree. The Kansas man said he’s never seen any of his knives resurface.
Wish a rich Angelina Jolie type

A side note about Angelina Jolie. She was on the front cover of the Widespread Panic album “Everyday.” So she crossed over into many genres. Great album. Music for the soul.

around 20 years ago i sold a 15" picklock to the drummer of Black Sabbath (bobby rondinelli) and while i was talking to him he wanted to know if it was ok if steven and Joe call me so i was like steven and Joe ? he said yea from Aerosmith but i never got a call from them . also many years ago a Hollywood producer contacted me and bought a 11" pickloc for a movie he was filming with Vincent Price he said Vincent would be using the knife in amovie so i asked i thought all knives in movies were fake props and he laughed at me and said look kid not all stuff you see in movies are fake some stuff is real .

I repaired that knife for Bobby Rondinelli a year or so ago.
Pearlex picklock, if I remember correctly. Replaced the front handle.
Sold him a Leverletto US, too.
Nice guy.
