I think that your whittling and carving talents are the true definitions of "Amazin'."

Another fine example of carving and whittling, Coley.

After carving a few coworkers my buddy said what about you? I carved a caricature of my self to put up with the rest of the work crew.
Re: Wood carving projects

Just finished up this Bufflehead decoy of the wood, wire, and canvas construction. The crackle finish antiquing technique I use on this is quite laborious, in the end there are 8 coats. It is kind of like being a knuckle ball pitcher, you never know what the results of your efforts are going to be. lol

The results on that one are pretty awesome OC. I enjoy seeing baffle heads in the wild. That is a great representation. Great work, as always.OLDE CUTLER wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2024 1:46 pm Just finished up this Bufflehead decoy of the wood, wire, and canvas construction. Got sent a 2x2x6 block of Bass wood with the newest knife I just bought from Bestgear(Tom) so I cut it out, carved it and sent it back his way. Here is the finished project.
