From the past couple days....

You have been really scoring at the flea markets lately, Scott, today included!
Might I ask if the long slim knife on the far-right has any markings saying "Pardue" or "Mel Pardue"? Cuz if it does, you might have a valuable knife there. It's been known to happen; someone pawns or gives away something valuable not knowing it was valuable. Of course it isn't the norm, but you never know. Pardue knives sell for $500.-the sky's the limit! Thx!

Oh darn!!! Close but no cigar! If it was made by Mel Pardue it very likely would have clear distinct markings. Reading "Fighter" it's probably a Fury product, not junk but not high-end either. Well, at the very least you end-up with a really cool knife! Thanks for your reply!

Ah ha! Seeing as I have no idea what exactly 233.15 Kelvin is you can see my mistake, so, what exactly is 233.15 Kelvin, Dog, eh?

Zero degrees Kelvin is known as "absolute zero", the point where atoms cease to vibrate, and presumable cease to exist. Or something like that. I did not Google it, this is my poor memory trying to dredge up facts from High School.
Anyway, Kelvin measures temperature from that point. There are no negative degrees Kelvin.

Much thanks Mark! Bought all these but one at the same table, but only a few keepers for me. The 119 looking one is a clone. The Smith Wesson has a lot of blade sharpened away, but still a decent user. The Sharp filet knife is a good one to use, just needs sharpening.

Keeping these for now(always changing):
- Browning Japan Folder in back
- Marbles Tundra Ulu
- Taylor Taiwan Tanto ... until I run across a Taylor/Seto MCR-11
- Puma SGB Sharpfinger
- I have plans to rehandle the Wilderness knife in something other that the plastic it has.

Great choices, Tony, and they include a couple I'd have chosen as well. Definitely the Browning sidewinder at the top, the bowie at the bottom of the same row with the black gunstock handle, and the Wilderness folder with stag/spear-point, except for the saw and plastic handles.

Came across this one and had to pick it up. Can’t find another like it anywhere I have searched online. Hoping someone here can give me some Info on it. All I know for sure is it’s a Carl schlieper German eye 425y. Was told from guy I got it from it’s called a diamondback but agian no luck finding anything.
