Got it, buddy... there are very few rules here and virtually none in this thread!
::paranoid:: ..... Well, ::paranoid:: I guess that depends on your definition of "very few rules" and "virtually none" ::paranoid:: .... ::shrug::
Ah, ha, ha! ::rotflol::
Good one, Dog, definitely one of your best! ::tu::

so we can correct it. Personally, I'm just reading some cross-talk, but it's always been like that in this thread, although, a bit more than usual perhaps. Speak-up, brother, don't be shy, ::handshake:: what's on your mind ? ::hmm:: ::shrug::

Here's something to get back on track. Got this yesterday as a reward for surviving 35 years on this rock.

A Valor Super Sport. Came with the box too ::tu::

As for your hair, I suspect you've got a few sharp things nearby. I do, however, have a burgeoning scissors collection that I might have to do something useful with ::shrug::
You said it ZTWKG! ::tu:: ::tu:: (Oh ::hmm:: ... and I like your bush-craft knife, made in Ukraine, I believe ::paranoid:: )
Yeah that BPS is Ukrainian. It's really a stellar knife, it goes pretty much everywhere with me.

Comfort....😋

Stag on a 1/2 Congress (AKA; "Out of Session") and scrimshaw on bone and wood on handmade knives all add a sense of comfort to an otherwise hectic day......😌

No no, buddy, I get it! Similar derailments in other threads go on all the time, and when I would show my dislike of the practice through my comments, I was advised by an admin that this is the norm and that it will eventually take care of itself and go back to normal knife discussions, which it did. I know you already know that fact and due to me knowing that you know, is why I asked if something was troubling you.
What I'm struggling to say is, when I read your OP it seemed you were "off", so I wanted to see if it was something we could help you with cuz we've all been there. If you saying it's all good, that's good enough for me! ::handshake::

You definitely got us back on track by posting that little beauty, Zach, thanks! That's a great knife, as-a-matter-of-fact, I have a Ron Lake designed model very similar to your Valor, and it too has that cool end-lock system. Nice little folder! ::tu::

Whoa, 3 lovelies from you today, Dog, particularly the first 2! I love that big ole' smatchet blade on the top model, and I have a very similar Parker/creamy bone covers but no schrim, and it also has a bottom bolster. Great post, buddy!

Grandson gave me this knife around 20 years ago, his maternal grandpa got one also, had instructions to tote it, sharpen it, use it and one day he'd get it back and have a knife his pa love and carried, I've done these things even lost it one time, luckily I found it. To say it's a comfort knife is a understatement.
