In order of earliest (top left) to last (bottom right), the entire series of patterns from the Case XX Tony Bose Collaboration spanning from 1999 to 2022. I think I have every type of cover and steel represented.

Very cool display of your high quality knives, Gus!GusSharp68 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 12:55 am I enjoy seeing pictures of everyone’s knives here, it’s fun to see things I’m not yet familiar with so thank you all for that. I’ve reached the end of a journey in acquiring the last of the series of the entire Case Tony Bose Collaboration Series, Literally the missing 6 in the last 2 weeks. Yes I”m broke now, literally. But tomorrow I’ll post a group photo. Every single one of these knives is a masterpiece in my opinion. Some of the patterns like this Arkansas Hunter I didn’t think much of by the photos but the photos don’t do many knives justice. I found that out pretty quick. Some that I didn’t think I’d like, I ended up favoring. This is one of them…

When I first set out to collect these, I thought I’d go ebony for every one, but that didn’t last long…

I’ll post the final result tomorrow.

Congrats Gus, that was a worthy goal. You picked knives that should be able to keep their value and probably increase. That was a wise choice.
Q, that is a beautiful collection of tear drop jacks. I had 18 of those at one time but decided to sell them and focus on other patterns and makers. That tear drop is one of my many favorite patterns. Didn’t know they turned out one with the Bermuda green ivory, that’s gorgeous.

Added a new Lone Wolf Paul knife to the collection. Sandstone agate. Very striking looking handles on this one.

Beautiful "Paul", Mark, IMO those are the prettiest covers on any of the series. I had no idea you were onto that series as much as you are, the only models that I didn't spot in your pictures are the "Defender" and "Prankster"/"Perfecto" (not certain which model it actually is) so you have acquiring those models to look forward to. Spectacular knives made even more stunning by displaying them properly, just like you do!Sharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 7:44 pm Added a new Lone Wolf Paul knife to the collection. Thank you Garry and Mark.
Mark, I will certainly be looking out for any I don’t have, at a reasonable price. Some of these are priced to the moon on eBay. So I am always keeping an eye open for those. Thanks again.

You are right about prices on eBay, cause I have been looking also.

Re: Collections, Sub-Collections and Family Group Photos
Thanks Tony. Probably justified on the prices since these were made for such a short time and in such small numbers and it’s such a unique opening mechanism. Just can’t bring myself to spend 6 or 700 for one yet. I might get there someday, but not there yet.

Know what you mean Mark ... there is a Seller at the Pigeon Forge Show that usually has a few Pauls. Gonna check him out in March.Sharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2025 1:14 am Thanks Tony. I should have gotten a couple from him last year. If I remember correctly, he sold his at 3-400. I only have 2 Pauls currently.
Prices will most likely continue upward.

Mark and Tony!
You may want to consider watching ArizonaCustomKnives.com , as they have the Paul's listed regularly and not as bad prices as other sites, if you can imagine that coming from them. I think that is due to they're Price Drop Program which can bring a price down nicely after a little time, coupled with the fact the series is getting older by the day and perhaps not quite as popular as before. Just a thought!

chickenman, You have a fine collection of stag Bulldogs.
Re: Collections, Sub-Collections and Family Group Photos
Actually, Marco...there are at least four Lone Wolf Paul models (that I know of) that are absent from SSK Mark's photo: Defender, Prankster, Perfecto, and Slim Jim and maybe more that I don't know of

Very striking indeed, Mark. Beautiful collection of LW Paul knivesSharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 7:44 pm Added a new Lone Wolf Paul knife to the collection. Sandstone agate. Very striking looking handles on this one.

I have loved the axial lock ever since I first discovered it; a truly marvelous piece of precision engineering. According to one history I read about its design, the tolerances are so precise that it was extremely challenging to produce and necessitated the invention of some new manufacturing equipment.
For those unfamiliar with the axial lock, here's an article that may be of interest:
