Great thread! Mine are on the left side of my home computer where I sit. I can reach most of them, but sometimes I rotate them and move them to a drawer. Today the closest one is Sunfish from Marbles, which my friend gave me for my birthday. Smooth, but not too slippery, nice round shape and weight. I really like holding it in my hands. Although my friend says that I behave like a fetishist and my wife calls me crazy. It's not in the first photo because it's in the second hand

Now that's the spirit that was intended for this thread, not anything specific but more of an overall good feeling just being close to your knives, and for the reasons you stated, D.S, well put! One look at your "area" tells me you are definitely in the spirit of this thread! You have some interesting knives on the table there, could we please see more of them? Thanks!

Yeah, I'll list them all down little by little. I found out that Marbles are made in the same factory as Rough Rider, that's true, I'll have to pick up a few RR if I can. Lots of metal for little money It's not that I don't like expensive knives, I had a few, but due to some unfortunate circumstances I had to sell them (last two photo)

Here are 4 - Sunfish, Wenger, Boker and the prototype Lanny's Clip and then with Buck 112. The prototype was made by my friend, I want to make him make a Lockback Whittler someday

Besides the fact that the Wenger clicks very nicely and is pleasant in the hand, today it helped me fix Buck 301 - it turned out to be a little defective, the liner on the castration blade side was bent, so the blade would not come out until the middle blade was open. Inserted a Wenger screwdriver and twisted until the liner was straight enough. Nickel silver is very soft, now there are nicks, it does not bother me, stamp 2019, and I will use it, I think it will go to the grave with me before it wears out

Found it at a local flea market in very good condition. Very nice knife, I can't bring myself to use it because of its rarity, but it's quite interesting to just hold it in my hands

It features a SS heavily file-worked spear-point blade that includes a nail-nick, NS bolster and wraparound inserts, even heavier intricately designed file-work on the spine, thick brass liners, and some of the firiest MOP these eyes have seen. Held together with brass pins on it's beautiful gunstock body.
How many times have ya'll read about my dislike for file-work, well let me tell you, the work that was done on this knife goes beyond what I have previously seen and looks great, it may convert me.
Walks and talks incredibly smoothly with a half-stop, and arrived in pristine condition.
Comfortable weight of about 6 oz.'s, and came dull so I could sharpen it to my satisfaction.
I have decided to focus on only high-end knives to accumulate, and stop buying any mid-road and/or cheapos, and I started with this one. I have enough of the stuff we post everyday, so I can continue with those and concentrate my buying to models like this today. At least that's the plan!
I paid-up a bit on this beauty, but Rob C./Knives Worth Using helped me out by accepting an offer, thanks again, Rob! Rob has other Claytons and many others you might want to view in his store.

Ill put these pants back on when I wake up at 6am and instinctively check for my knife. There will be moments of panic upon feeling the empty pocket as I try to recall where I dropped it. Then I'll race right back down here to reclaim my prize
