Gorgeous knife!

This is very touching :)
And the knives are wonderful!

For a first try, it looks very good! Keep up the good work =)
Is this steel rusty or stainless?

And here is my pistachio destroyer. The spear-shaped canning knife has many uses

Thanks DesertSnake! It is not stainless, but does not rust easily. It is a mystery steel ::shrug:: I think it is carbon with chromium and vanadium.
I can see why you call your knife a pistachio destroyer. ::tu::

Great topic! My near-perfect, desk/comfort knife choice is my Victorinox Executive. I regularly use the orange peeler blade! Besides that it has just enough blades and hand tools to complete most of my “recliner-based” tasks!

Small world! Hahira is bustling at the moment with a good deal of development and commercial investment. The small town feel is slowly disappearing around these parts!

That's a fine 1st. effort, Tony, it looks very professional to me. ::nod::
Like many members of AAPK, I enjoy spending my weekends sorting through my knife collection (what is left of it at least :x 😢) and pulling out some of the Comfort Knives for a little C-KATS (Comfort Knife Applied Therapy Session) and of course reading about the Canadian Royal Mounted Police in North-West Canada.🍁

Hey thanks! I remember when this one was as slick as yours! Glad you appreciate a good “ugly” carbon blade as well.
