Nice catch, Steve. Can you tell me anything about the round logo on the side of that locomotive. I don't recall seeing any CN locos with that around here. I can't find any info online.

Great sunset Photo Santa Fe.
I bet they are allowed to blow the horn on the back road crossings.
Some of the villages or high class neighborhoods I use that loosely. Have put in NO TRAIN HORN ordinances. Are you kidding me.
They post a sign at the crossing no horns.

Yes a local town here has a no horn ordinance.
They installed double crossing signals, so nobody can drive around them

Cool shots, SF! I like looking at those old elevators too, a reminder of what once was. There's some old concrete ones in Cumberland that are really showing their age. The viaduct in the bottom left supports rails leading towards Grafton, WV.

In Elburn stopping at the meat market stopped by a train lo and behold. Probably 130 car coal train. I’m amazed.
It was not 135 cars nevertheless it was still pulling the train of coal

Ike if you make it to Reams You are going to have to come a little bit further for a trip to Illinois Rail Museum. Have to give me a little warning and I will join you for sure.
Steve
I Don’t want to seam real excited about a coal train.
I can in no way on Gods green earth be even slightly convinced that Windmills and Solar Panels can power what we need. That is the biggest joke that is no joke.

Cool shots, Steve.
This video is AI narrated, but provides some great information for catching 4014 as she makes her trek east.
