Tested XX fake stockman

Good eye. Looks like another Kutmaster turned into a fake Case. Note the “humpbacked” spey blade. Not Case jigging. Case rarely put pattern numbers on Tested era knives - looks like someone stamped it one individual number at a time.

That "broken typewriter" tang stamping doesn't work on any knife except for an old Russell.

I'm afraid this is one of many eBay knife sellers that doesn't know a lot about knives. This same seller had this terrible, newer Queen #28 pattern jack with imitation winterbottom bone and a fake Case tested blade installed. The knife was priced at $800. Seller said he had the knife verified by two other individuals. I wrote the seller and told him the knife was a fake and he took it down pending "more research".

Note that the #28 frame has had the head bolster squared off from its original rounded profile.
