It's interesting Cal, the way you have those shots laid out by company, it is easy to spot the similarities in the celluloid by company. The Schrade is quite distinctive, though it is seemingly a random pattern as are the others. The Imperial celluloid looks quite similar to one another even though the colors are different.
The GEC handles have a quality about them that is unique and random, but at the same time similar.
That is the first old GEC celluloid I have seen (that I knew what it was).

Perhaps an interesting new topic in Knife Lore would be on the celluloid patterns of the old companies.
