Dale, glad you're rehabin' well. You certainly have my vote! ::tu::

There is an endless list of members here worthy of praise, and the title of this thread makes this the perfect place for me to post kudos to one in particular.
This is the second knife gifted to me by Trevor in the last 3 or 4 months, and my first GEC.
I only hope that one day, I can be deserving of such a friend. Thanks IM!

The knife! (now I see what all the buzz with GEC is about, they are exceptional!)

Can't go without saying thanks to all the members of AAPK that have found it in their hearts to help me to become better at the hobby I love. There are way too many to list, but hopefully ya'll know who you are. THANKS!!

To continue this thread about the kind memebers we have here, a while back I posted a thread in the want ads looking to buy a USA made Schrade 12OT & 19OT
Well old goat (Russell) was kind enough to send a 12OT my way and wouldnt take a penny for it.

Thanks Russell, I apreciate it very much and you are the kind of member that makes this place as cool as it is ;)

Gino ;)

Russell, what a kind and generous gesture. You're one of those who make AAPK the wonderful place it is.

Gino - Congratulations man and I'm glad you resurrected this old thread.

Another who makes AAPK a great place to hang your hat is Ozzie Marie (Kieth Jacobs). I've told this story in a couple of other threads but it needs to be here with these other Knife Hall of Fame stories. Yesterday Sunday March 25th, I met Keith for the first time at the Badger Knife Show in Janesville Wisconsin. Keith is a great guy and real easy to talk to. He pointed me to another vendor who had a bone handle Camillus #72 I've expressed a desire to own. Later when my boy, my grandsons and I stopped to say goodbye, he gifted knives to everyone. Mine was a '46-'56 Imperial Scout #72 clone I didn't even know existed. Keith, I'm still in shock and awe of your generosity. Thanks man. I'm not worthy of your generosity but I sure as hell appreciate it.
