Great day to all!
My dad used to tell a story about an old fella down home that had two boys that were so lazy they wouldn't yell 'Sui' if the hogs was eatin' 'em up. Somebody asked him which one was the laziest and the old boy said he didn't know. The more he thought about it, the more he wondered himself, which one of those boys was the laziest so he decided on a little experiment.

The old man goes looking for his boys and finds 'em layin' under a shade tree out in the yard. He says, "Boys, you're lazy as sin. Everybody says you two are the laziest human beings in the county or maybe even the state. I just got to wonderin' which one is the laziest so here's what I'm gonna do. Which ever one is the laziest, I'm gonna give him a dollar (this was back when a dollar was a good days wages).

Well the youngest jumps up and says, "Give it to me, Pa. You know I'm to lazy to wipe my own butt."

The older one just laid there and says, "If'n you want me to have it Pa, just stick it in my pocket."

Mornin' gents. Hope this Monday finds you well and fit. It found me with a sinus headache ::td:: But, at least it isn't one of the migraines.......

Watching this 'tropical depression' blowing in. They keep moving the predictions further west from me. Last I heard it's looking for Louisiana and Nawlins'. Hmmm.....if it hits there, who they gonna blame it on, since Bush is gone :roll:

::hmm::

Great day to all!!

Good morning folks. I've been up for hours but just now got a chance to drop in. I had a great weekend. My AAPK buddy, Jason Holcomb (jholcomb) came up from Alabama and spent the weekend here with us so that he and I could go to the Central Ky. Knife Club annual show. It was a great show as usual, and I had a great time hosting Jason. I hope he enjoyed his first trip ever to Ky.

Seems you never know what the day will bring. I live out in the country on a dead end side road. Out by the highway there aren't any houses and for years it's been a popular spot for folks to discard their trash and their unwanted pets. I've got four dogs currently that came here that way.

This morning my wife called me shortly after leaving for work to report spotting two domesticated rabbits at the end of the road. I went out to see if I could catch them. :roll: Forget that! I finally spotted one of them but it jumped and ran down into the tile that runs under the road. I fear they won't last long with traffic and coyotes to contend with, but I don't have any means of catching them and I'm not sure what I'd do with them if I could catch them.

::hmm:: I wonder where everybody is this morning. ::paranoid:: I'm usually late to the diner.......today I'm the first one here.
It's kinda lonely round here without you folks.
Oh well, more gravy for my biscuits. :mrgreen:

Good morning Phil, I'm finally here - had a bunch of email to catch up on, so I did that first. Sipping the second cup of coffee and enjoying a little peace and quiet here at AAPK before the business day gets going at 0800. Morning to the rest of you gents (when you get here!)

Wow! Slept a little late for me. I hope everyone is doing well this morning. It's going to be another beautiful day in The Great Midwest.

Vacation? What's a vacation? How do you get one of those and what do you do with it?
