Show Us Your Camillus Knives!

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

A Muskrat "Yello-Jaket" Blades AUS8, carbon fiber scale insert.
There is no tang stamp, but Camillus is etched across the spine.
That carbon fiber is kinda cool!

Thank you Steve, the Muskrat I believe is out of production now, but on the
camillusknives.com website there is one other matching style.

This morning, this knife joined my collection. It is a CAMILLUS, 3 blade, Boy Scout pocket knife with bail. It is the "75th ANNIVERSARY - BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA - 1910-1985 pocket knife. It didn't need any cleaning. I took a few pictures, here it is.

This knife arrived today and is the latest addition to my Camillus collection. It's a CAMILLUS, 3 blade, main blade etched, bee shield, stockman pocket knife. I didn't have to clean it at all. It's in FANTASTIC condition. Here it is.

Here is another one I got cleaned up.
Could someone instruct me on the best way to clean inside the knife.
You would not believe how much dirt, grease, and pocket lint came
out of this knife.

I flood the pocket with 3-in-1 and let it soak a while. Flip it over and shake out as much as I can. Try some compressed air, but make sure to wear safety glasses. Soak again, if you're so inclined. Then I wrap a bit of tissue or napkin around a toothpick and wipe it out.

I like the knife, by the way.
Take care and God bless,

Picked up this Camillus Outers type sheath knife, fairly early with bone handles, also has a Sword Brand tang stamp on pile side that I have not seen that often on this pattern knife.
