I flood the pocket with 3-in-1 and let it soak a while. Flip it over and shake out as much as I can. Try some compressed air, but make sure to wear safety glasses. Soak again, if you're so inclined. Then I wrap a bit of tissue or napkin around a toothpick and wipe it out.

I like the knife, by the way.

I use dental pics David. Soak first in soapy water then clean and dry.

Of course, when I receive it, it'll get the once over. This set will go nicely with my other CAMILLUS 100th Anniversary set, the last picture.

I just bought this for best offer. I couldn't resist. It's a CAMILLUS box with the steel sharpening rod. The knife, which I believe is a CAMILLUS 14, doesn't belong with this box. As far as I know, the only CAMILLUS patterns that came in this type of box are the 165, the 177 and the 179. Out of the three, only the 177 has two blades. You can NOT confuse a 177 with a 14. The others have three blades. Could a pattern 14 come in a box like this? I suppose it's possible. If yes, then I have another great box & knife combination. If no, well I still get a VERY good looking knife and a box that I now have to obtain the "proper" knife for. Hopefully, the box end panel will still have the pattern number on it. I think it's for a pattern 165. I'll just have to wait and see.

These are real 100th Anniversary knives (unlike a whittler with ducks ).

For me this is a very different knife, but I really like it.
A Muskrat "Yello-Jaket" Blades AUS8, carbon fiber scale insert.
There is no tang stamp, but Camillus is etched across the spine.

This is new-Camillus (made in China).
I'm glad you like it. I have the same and I did not receive joy from him .

....sorry I missed yours, vit!!...I'm missing a lot of stuff these days!!!... ..........

You have not missed anything. It has been in my knife box for many years, but it has never been in my light box .

No sir, but with the bone handles it would have to be earlier than the 50's. Maybe someone will be along that can be more specific.
