Here’s a retired sentimental favorite of mine. I’ve posted it before in another thread. My wife gave it to me as a sort of wedding present when we married in 1971. I carried it and put a lot of miles on it, and then one day I misplaced it. Thought it was lost and only then did I realize how much it meant to me.

Then our youngest son found it after it had lived several months in the pasture. I cleaned it up and decided then to retire it, lest I lose it again. (Something to consider, Wade.)
Here it is, well earned warts and all. Well used but still has great snap, very slight blade play.
