Very interesting assortment there, Knifegnome!! You had a good day.

I am just back from a knife show, as usual, no rhyme or reason to my purchases. Here is my assortment of pickups. I spent the money I had on me, and traded some knives I had taken, in case It became necessary. The Farriers knife made it necessary. I will post more pictures after I play with them for a while.
Knice haul bro!!!

Found these 2 yesterday,,,

Cool deal on the swords, David. Do you know anything about them? Any markings?

Why, yes it is! Does your question mean that you have one like it? It is a sweet little knife!

Thanks to everyone for your comments.

I was perusing Sellen's book on Keen Kutter knives and that pattern caught my attention. Very old school and unique. ::tu:: ::tu::

I know nothing about the sword. I have found no markings so far. I'm going to clean it up, maybe I will find something.

Here are the knives I picked up at the show this weekend, plus a couple of other recent acquisitions.
Very decent Bowie by a maker who did not put his name or brand on it. Excellent heavy leather sheath for it.
Nice custom drop point by Jim Barnes. Mastodon ivory on the grips and very good leather sheath. Barnes is a custom maker out of Christoval, Texas.
Horseman's knife (tool) by Butler out of Sheffield.
Three Case trappers. One stag new grind. One stag USA. Red Bone has 4 or 5 dots, 1975 or1976.
Toothpick is a Fight'n Rooster, really good stag, Showboat etch.
KaBar 1189 is pretty much mint.
Spyderco Delica (?), Seki, Japan.
Benchmade 15080 has a scratch or two on the blade but a great knife.

All are for sale,,,,,,,,

Doing some catch up on the posts after being away for a couple of weeks. Some great finds guys. Here are some I picked up week before last, a couple from a Collectibles shop near me and another while I was traveling down in LA, (Lower Alabama). I will also post more about them in the Camillus 72 Clone thread.

First, a Imperial Scout Whittler which had the original box and insert. It has the silver federal style Scout shield. All blades have great snap, no wobble, still has the original luster, but do have some scratches.

Imperial Scout pile side.JPG
Next a Remington R14 Carpenters Whittler. Same pattern and blades as the 72, has the round Remington shield, and does not come with the Remington etch on the blade. It also has a different coloration of the delrin handles from the other Remington R14 I have which does have the Remington blade etch. The last photo shows a comparison of this one to the other one I have.

Lastly I picked this one up at a local collectibles shop near me. It usually has collectible sports cards, comics and some diecast cars, but he does go to estate auctions and occasionally comes up with some pocket knives. Luckily his prices are not outrageous. This one cost me $20. A Camillus 1047 Scout Whittler, with the round BSA shield, delrin handles, but has and unusual Clip blade. It has the Craftsman USA 95234 blade etch instead of the usual Camillus tang stamp. I belive this is one of the end of production knives in which Camillus was using what they had in the bins.
