Definitely not legit. Looks like someone took a USA 65-69 Frame and restamped the blades, nothing right about it at all.

Am I wrong or is one tang stamp from 1905-1914 and the other from 1914-1920?

Yes, that’s correct. W R Case & Sons never had rights to the Tested XX trademark until 1915 when they purchased it from Case Bros. But, as I said before, nothing about this knife is correct.

For $22,295, they could have at least put a period correct shield on that frankenknife.

Didn't even notice that. I was blinded by the price.

Re: This can't be legit
They have proven themselves to be liars with the statement "unopened", while also stating very minor spots on two of the blades and showing pictures of the knife open. How would one know that it had spots if it was unopened?????? And the price, how would any sane person arrive at that??? Also note that the seller has 0% positive feedback???

Looks like a Dremel tool was used to put the "Bradford.Pa" marking on the tang. He deserves a finger cut after typing that price in.
However, he has ended the listing.

I am thinking that shield came from a Case Classic.

Re: This can't be legit
It has now been pulled due to "an error in listing". I guess someone must have questioned the seller about his/her verbage.

I did send him an eBay message at 4:00 PM and told him what he was doing.
I pretty sure he must have received several more than just mine.

Re: This can't be legit
I had a back and forth conversation with this seller and he informed me that he did not build the knife but simply bought it from a dealer that stated that it was made from parts. My question to him was.....from where did he say he got these new parts [blades]? The man seemed to be unaware that the knife was a well constructed "fake". I kinda of feel sorry for these people that get duped by these "fake" dealers dealing in "FAKE" knives.

Re: This can't be legit
So the knife was sold to him and represented to him as being "made from parts".
Somehow I don't see any such representation in his description of the knife.
"Case XX 5488 Congress Pre-1920. Rare.
Never carried, never sharpened.
Some very minor spots on two of the blades.
Outstanding condition for 100+ yr old unit."
Sounds like pure bullcorn to me.
