Show Us Your Camillus Knives!

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Would this be considered a "72"? Was it made by CAMILLUS? Sure looks like a 72 to the uninformed... such as myself ::shrug::
Same pattern but different tang stamp and maker. The Craftsman 9494 was produced by Sears Roebuck by several makers. Yours I believe was made by Ulster, just going by the master clip blade and plain thumb nail nick. Good find, Congrats. Here is the thread about Camillus 72 Clones. viewtopic.php?f=63&t=62956 You should consider also posting your Craftsman 9494 there also. ::tu::

I think the main problem for me is that a lot of ones I have found in person, at pawn shops yard sales etc...etc... are usually in EXTRA worn out shape ::disgust::

Today's Camillus find: a well used (but not abused) Deluxe Pony Stock 83
I'm not expert enough to say if the covers are Cabone or Brownstag.

I found a #67 to add to the pile... ::paranoid:: ::hmm:: Maybe some acid-tone to get that blue paint off the metal.

This 91 Congress was in pretty sad shape when I paid $10 for it today.
I cleaned it up a bit and sharpened it. It's a long line stamp. Another packer.
