EGW Fixed Blade

Post by CampbellAr2 »

Howdy,
Picked up this old EGW , and was looking for some background. All the references I dig up point to this as a Private Purchase / PX knife vs and issue item

5inch non-fullered blade, 9 1/2 overall, with stacked leather disk handle
non-serrated back
cap lifter and lanyard ring
EGW 5inch EGWMilK002.jpg
Appreciate any data on prodution and issue/use, cuz I got doodly

Here's some good info, I have one myself-

But Waterman's don't get good reviews as being a good combat knife. The blade is thin, but I like the style. ::tu::
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

You're going to look awfully silly with that knife sticking out of your @#$. -Clint Eastwood, High Plains Drifter
