Just one of my dad's OTs today. This one was lost in the haymound for about a year.

Great looking HOK, John, another stroke of luck finding that one, just like a needle in a hay stack/mound.

Today we put my Dad to rest and like Dwight Yokem sang the last ride in a Cadillac,I have given him Buck ,,Case and GEC knives but the one he always carried was an old Imperial peanut that my sister gave me before the funeral and I will always have in my watch pocket of my jeans.
RIP Dad

When I had my car detailed recently, this Colonial Barlow was discovered somewhere deep within the interior. It had been missing for maybe two years.

The blade was heavily rusted and spotted. After cleaning it up as best I could I forced a patina on both blades.To my eyes it looks much better now and I am happy to carry it. The blades now carry an impressive edge.

National Day of Service helping out at the food bank. Everyone was borrowing the knife to open boxes and shrink wrap on the pallets of supplies. Got a good workout today.

My sincere condolences during your difficult times, Dogg, You can draw comfort in knowing he's in a better place, and it's we who are still here continuing the search for happiness. And you have his knife to carry with you to draw your fingers across every now and then as you remember your Dad.
